Columbus taco truck patronized by beer-toting customers on horseback

Bethia Woolf and Andy Dehus have seen some interesting things in their time running the popular food tour company Columbus Food Adventures. On a recent trip to collect info for a west side taco truck tour, the duo ran across something they’d never seen before, however.

According to Woolf, who posted photos to Columbus Food Adventures’ social media accounts short afterwards, a pair of men who were traveling across Ohio en route to a quinceañera stopped by the Taqueria Reyes food truck over the weekend.

“There’s always something on the west side, but yeah that’s the first time we’ve seen horses out there,” Woolf said with a laugh.

She told 614Now that the men–who affixed a bucket of beer to one of the saddles as well–weren’t actually traveling across the state on horseback, but had brought their animals along for the trip via trailer.

As it was a nice afternoon, they decided to grab some tacos and take a stroll (or is it a trot?) through Columbus for a bit.

“They said they just took their horses out to have some fun,” Woolf said. “People were taking pictures as well, and everyone seemed to enjoy it.”
