East Coast-style pizzeria opens in the Brewery District

A popular spot for East Coast-inspired pizza has reopened in a new space.

According to an Instagram post from Alberta’s Pizza Kitchen, the peregrine Columbus concept opened last week at its new kitchen inside of Classic’s Victory’s Sports Bar.

“We quietly opened this weekend inside Classic’s Bar at 541 S. High St. in the Brewery District,” the pizzeria’s statement reads. “Friday is not the day/night to get your feet wet, but our team crushed it all weekend, working double shifts.”

Alberta’s was first opened by Doug Sauer in 2021 inside of Hey Hey Bar & Grill, and later operated temporarily out of Halftime Tavern and the Pointe Tavern.

Alberta’s new location is open 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Friday, 12-10 p.m. Saturday and 12-8 p.m. Sunday.
