Popular Pakistani/American fusion restaurant chain opening first Columbus location next month
“There’s a huge Pakistani community here, but not a lot of restaurants that reflect that,” said Farah Ilyas, the owner of the new Pakistani-American fusion restaurant coming to town.
Lahore Food Street, also known as just “Food Street” at their sister restaurant in New Jersey, is opening after much anticipation on December 6.
“We decided on a street food concept because that’s what people miss the most about our country,” Ilyas explained. “It’s what people crave and can’t really get here in the United States.”

So what is a modern approach to Pakistani street food, you may wonder? Aalo Tikki Burgers, Chicken Tikka Paratha Rolls, Samosa Chaat, South-Asian spiced crispy chicken sandwiches, and so much more, all halal.
The New Jersey based restaurant is extremely popular, becoming a viral sensation overnight for their Pakistani/American fusion fare. Ilyas resides in Lewis Center, and she’s thrilled to be serving up some delicious food in Clintonville.
Street Food will be located at 3373 N. High St. They’ll serve lunch, dinner, and late-night eats, 11am-11pm Sunday through Thursday, and 11am-12am Fridays and Saturdays.
