Eatery featuring Indian pizza, Indian ice cream holds grand opening at Polaris

If your relationship with pizza needs a little something to bring back the spark, we may have just the thing for you.

Dadu’s Bakery & Sweets, a bakery featuring pizza, ice cream and baked goods with an Indian twist, held its official grand opening celebration on Dec. 21, although the bakery and sweet shop has been open for some time before the event.

The new eatery is located at 8495 Sancus Blvd., inside the Neighborhood Shoppes at Polaris.

Billed as an Indian bakery and sweet shop, Dadu’s features traditional Indian items like samosas and vada pav, but also offers a variety of fusion items including Indian pizza and Kwality Ice Cream, an Indian brand selling ice cream, kulfi (a Middle frozen dessert), Indian cassata ice cream cake and more.

Dadu’s is open 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 8 a.m.-10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
