First-ever Guy Fieri brick + mortar restaurant opening in Columbus

While there was already a Guy Fieri’s Flavortown Kitchen concept, which was a ghost kitchen pop-up that’s now closed, a physical restaurant space is now set to open for the first time in Columbus.

According to recently filed permits with the City of Columbus, a Guy Fieri concept is opening at 6000 S. High St. at Scioto Downs. A Scioto Downs representative also confirmed this, but they would not provide more details, such as when it would open.

Guy Fieri’s restaurant group currently operates 17 types of Fieri concepts around America, such as a BBQ joint, a taqueria, a sandwich shop, a pizza parlor, a chophouse, a smokehouse, plus others, but Scioto Downs will not confirm which type of Fieri concept will operate out of their space.

The city permit says parts of the interior of Scioto Downs is being demolished with added modifications to make room for this new concept.

Fieri’s roots started in Columbus, where he was born in 1968, so it’s only fitting that he replants them here again!
