Foodie Favorites: 614feast’s top 5 picks for Burger and Beer Week

Anthony O'Connell

Hey Columbus!

(614)’s Burger and Beer Week kicked off on Monday and ends Saturday, so you still have some time to enjoy an incredible burger and beer for a great price. With over 30 Columbus, Ohio restaurants participating, it was tough narrowing it down, but I’ve picked my top 5 must-try burgers.

This iconic combo of burger and beer never disappoints, and these 5 picks are all feast-worthy without breaking the bank. Each burger is priced at $8, except for the steal at Hadley’s Bar + Kitchen at $6 – though I added bacon for $2 extra, because, well…bacon.

Wolf’s Ridge Brewing
$8 PER BURGER, (614) Lager $5 | pint

The WRB Burger packs a flavorful punch with a 4 oz RL Valley beef patty, lettuce, tomato, dill pickle, cheddar cheese, red onion, all on a soft brioche bun and drizzled with the signature WRB sauce. If you’re trying to party, there’s an option to triple the indulgence with a triple patty burger at a modest $16. Pair it with a refreshing pint of (614) Lager, reasonably priced at $5, and you’ve got yourself a party.

The Thurman Cafe
$8 PER BURGER, (614) Lager $5 | Pint

Thurman Cafe is a Columbus gem, featured on numerous TV shows and cherished by many. Burger and Beer Week is the ideal occasion to drop by and see why this place is so beloved. Classic Cheeseburger Deluxe: 8 oz Burger w/choice of American, Swiss or Cheddar – served with lettuce, tomato, pickle, raw onion & Mayo – Served with chips & a dill pickle spear. Add Fresh Cut Fries for $2

High Bank Distillery
$8 PER BURGER, (614) Lager | Grandview: $3 Draft, Gahanna: $3 can

The Oishii Burger showcases a feast-worthy flavor fusion where East meets West. With a perfectly seasoned beef patty, shiitake mushrooms, pickled ginger, and shishito peppers, drizzled with teriyaki and wasabi mayo, on a soft brioche bun.

Hadley’s Bar + Kitchen | (614) Lager $3 can
$6 PER BURGER +$2 for bacon

The most affordable of my favorites, the Hadley’s Diner Burger: Top Choice Ohio beef, American cheese, house-brined pickles, dijonnaise, and a brioche bun.

Pat and Gracie’s Kitchen x Tavern
$8 PER BURGER | (614) Lager $5 | pint

A delicious, classic, The All American Burger: 2 Smashed Angus Burgers, Monterey Jack Cheese, Caramelized onions, bacon, pickled tomatoes and Garlic aioli.
