Fourth location of this sandwich shop closed abruptly; owner may reopen other location
The Downtown office crowd now has one less place to stop in for a soup, salad, or sandwich on their lunch break.
Zoup! closed at Tuttle, Lennox, and Capitol Square all this year, and now, Tom Dailey, a franchise owner of Zoup!, has had to say goodbye to the arena district location at 1555 W. Nationwide Blvd. due to unforeseen circumstances.
“It’s true that we’ve had 4 years of a perfect storm: forced closures, office closures, Nationwide arena closures, and general lack of traffic downtown,” explained Dailey.

There’s now one remaining Zoup! Columbus area location at Easton, but it’s not owned by Dailey. Dailey also owned Tasty Dawg, a gourmet hot dog shop downtown, but he recently sold that to the general manager there.
His next steps include hopefully reopening the Lennox Zoup! location after it closed this year due to air conditioning problems. Dailey still has a lease there. “Whether that’s going to be owned by us though is still up in the air,” said Dailey.
