Here’s when Cameron Mitchell Restaurants plans to open its anticipated German Village eatery
If all goes according to plan, we’ll be able to enjoy Cento before the fall.
According to a recent social media post, Cameron Mitchell Restaurants (CMR) is aiming to open Cento, its new upscale Italian restaurant in German Village, this summer. A CMR representative later confirmed this.
There has not been an exact date announced for the opening.

Cento, which will take over the former home of G. Michael’s Bistro & Bar at 595 S. 3rd. St., means “100” in Italian, and nods to the fact that the German Village spot will serve as Cameron Mitchell’s 100th eatery.
“The name means 100 in Italian – fitting as this will be CMR’s 100th restaurant,” said a CMR representative in a statement last year. “The name was selected after asking associates to submit name ideas, and Corporate Chef Jamie Kline submitted Cento.”
