Since last spring, we’ve been waiting for Cocky’s Bagels–the beloved Cleveland-based bagel spot–to make its Columbus debut, and it appears we don’t have much longer to wait.

According to a Cocky’s Bagels representative, construction on the eatery’s first location in Columbus is “almost complete.” Cocky’s is currently aiming for a grand opening in March or April of this year.

Self-described as “the best bagels + bagel sandwiches in Cleveland,” Cocky’s offers a dozen different bagel varieties, in addition to breakfast bagel sandwiches and other more indulgent lunch and dinner options, such as the Pizza Bagel or The Philly, a Philly cheesecake-inspired bagel sandwich.

The eatery will be located in the University District, at 1482 N. High St.

Cocky’s Bagels first opened in 2019 in North Olmsted, a suburb of Cleveland, before launching an eatery in The Flats neighborhood of Cleveland last year. Cocky’s also operates a food truck.
