Icarus Sandwich Shop to temporarily close, adopt new sales model
After opening in the fall of 2021, Icarus Sandwich Shop, the chic eatery from the owners of Fox in the Snow, will shut its doors temporarily while a new sales model is implemented.
According to a statement from owners Lauren Culley and Jeff Excell that was shared with 614Now, versions of Icarus sandwiches will soon be offered at all Fox in the Snow locations. While this is happening, Icarus Sandwich Shop will temporarily close its doors.
Culley and Excell also own Fox in the Snow.

“While we try this new model, we will unfortunately be closing the doors of Icarus to the public until we understand what the demand will be at Fox in the Snow and whether or not our space and model can support both shops,” the statement reads.
Icarus sandwiches will be offered at Fox in the Snow starting in early February.
Over the next few weeks, fans of the concept can still grab sandwiches in-store or order from the current online. Icarus is open from 10:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
