Iconic Ohio pizzeria plans to reopen two central Ohio locations soon

While a pair of DiCarlo’s Pizza locations temporarily shuttered earlier this year, they’re both likely to reopen—alongside a new Italian shop—later this year.

According to DiCarlo’s owner David DiCarlo, the Ohio Valley pizza chain plans to reopen both its Hilliard and Uptown Westerville locations soon. DiCarlo said the deals have not yet been legally finalized, but he intends to have both stores open in December.

The pair of stores—which are located at 4142 Main St. in Hilliard and 20 S. State St. in Westerville—were previously operated as franchises before temporarily closing earlier this year, but both will be taken over as company stores, DiCarlo told 614Now.

A sign outside of the Westverille DiCarlo’s location also advertises that the State Street store is coming soon.

In addition to both the Hilliard and Westerville shops reopening, DiCarlo’s is also planning to open a new Italian Village storefront, which will be located at 15 E. 2nd Ave. It will open later this year. The new pizzeria will take the place of the former Icarus Sandwich Shop, which closed in early January.
