Indulgent Columbus sandwich shop closes, but notes plans for new location

Following the closure of the iconic Neighbor’s Deli last May, another Columbus sandwich spot known for its indulgent creations has closed its doors, for now at least.

Feed Me Sandwich Kings has closed its sole restaurant on the city’s near east side, owner Stafford Lipscomb told 614Now.

The eatery, which has been open since 2016, was located at 1053 E. Main St.

It’s not all bad news for fans of the concept, and its popular Moo and Nellie sandwich, however. According to Lipscomb, Columbus hasn’t seen the last of Feed Me Sandwich Kings.

The eatery is eyeing a move into a local food hall, and plans to offer food for delivery later this summer, Lipscomb said, although a specific date and location have not been announced yet.
