When Parable Coffee first took over the former home of Nosh on High last spring, Columbus knew to expect a wide range of inspired, culinary flavor combinations in their drinks, like Sesame Miso Caramel Latte or Espresso + Tonic.

What we didn’t realize, however, was that we would soon be getting a top-tier spot for baked goods alongside the new coffee shop.

Standout Columbus pastry chef and multiple-time Food Network competitor Aaron Clouse, was hired by Parable to launch its bakery program in early February, and the early results so far have been delicious.

From Crème Brûlée Cookies to Yuzu Meringue Pie Croissant, Clouse has lived up to his billing since launching the program last month, providing flavors that are just as satisfyingly original and inventive as Parable’s unique slate of drinks.

Check Parable’s Instagram account to stay up to date on new offerings from Clouse.

Clouse had previously operated the pastry programs at prestigious Columbus spots like The Refectory, The Hilton, Mmelo Confections, and A&R Restaurant Group, which owns The Mercury Diner and The Crest.
