Local fried chicken spot opening Gahanna location this week

That didn’t take long.

Less than two months after Hot Chicken Takeover announced its plans to open a Gahanna location in February, the Columbus-born concept said it will officially open the doors of this new eatery later this week.

The Gahanna Hot Chicken Takeover, Hot Chicken Takeover’s sixth restaurant, will hold its grand opening on April 6. It is located at 109 N. Hamilton Rd., near Chipotle and Panera Bread.

Hot Chicken Takeover will hold a Support Gahanna Lincoln High School evening one day before its grand opening, on April 5 from 5-8 p.m. Patrons are welcome to stop by and grab an entree, side, and drink for $5, while supplies last. All of the proceeds will be donated to Gahanna Lincoln High School.

On Grand opening day, the first 50 guests will receive a free Hot Chicken Takeover “swag bag,” valued at $50. The eatery will be open 11 a.m.-9 p.m. on April 6.
