Local paranormal investigator opening new horror-themed pizzeria in former Massey’s location

Even though the month of October is behind us, a spooky new pizzeria plans to bring Halloween vibes to Delaware all year long.

Loiee G’s, a unique new pizza concept, will open on Dec. 13. It will take over the former home of Massey’s Pizza in Delaware, which was located at 219 S. Sandusky St.

According to Lois Gonzales, who will co-own operate the pizzeria alongside her partner Zack Bracken, the eatery will offer 9-10 pinball machines, alcohol, and plans to lean into a horror movie-theme.

“My partner and I both love eating pizza and watching a good horror film. We wanted to add an underlying pop culture horror feel to give our personalities as an extension of the restaurant itself,” Gonzales, who is also a paranormal investigator, told 614Now.com.

She noted that Delaware restaurant will embrace horror movie decor, including masks from iconic slasher films and a mural created by Kyle Schmidt that will feature horror movie characters eating pizza.

While Loiee G’s also plans to screen classic scary movies inside the eatery–so guests can eat pizza and watch horror at the same time–she said the family-owned spot is also family-friendly, and its decor won’t be overly frightening.

New York-style pizza will be served, alongside soups, salads, wings, pasta, pepperoni rolls and more.
