A popular central Ohio pizzeria has new owners and a new menu, and they’re ready to celebrate.

Capuano’s Pizza House, which is located at 24 S. Township Rd. in Pataskala, is holding a “grand re-opening” celebration that kicks off today and runs through May 14.

Self-described as Pataskala’s oldest pizzeria, Capuano’s has been closed since May 10 for renovations. The event will commemorate both the pizzeria’s update and its change of ownership.

The re-opening officially starts at 11:30 a.m. today with a ribbon-cutting ceremony from the Pataskala Chamber of Commerce and Mayor Mike Compton.

The weekend-long celebration will include a reveal of the pizzeria’s new menu, a chance to meet the eatery’s new owners, shirt sales and more. According to an event description, a portion of the proceeds will benefit The Eli Effect, a Pataskala nonprofit.
