National fruit bowl and smoothie chain opening 10 locations in Columbus area
There’s now going to be ten more chances to opt for a healthy take-out option.
Everbowl, an acai bowl and smoothie chain, is currently constructing two storefront locations. One will be at 1303 Lane Avenue in Upper Arlington, and the second will be in Uptown Westerville at 15 N. State St., according to Josh Smith, an Everbowl franchise owner. Smith and his team are also working on opening eight more locations in Hilliard, Powell, Canal Winchester, and the Dublin area.
According to Smith, these new locations with offer 12 different bowl options, ranging from The Blue Lagoon with pitaya, Coco Love, Blue Majic, chia pudding, strawberries, pineapple, and shaved coconut, to the Full Moon bowl, with cacao, vanilla, granola, bananas, strawberries, peanut butter, and cacao nibs. Smith is also planning to offer three or four different versions of avocado toast at the Lane Ave. location, and seasonal bowls like a “pumpkin latte” flavor that will run until December.

Drew Brees, an NFL player for 20 seasons, actually invested in the Everbowl franchises, saying he’s fully aligned with Everbowl’s mission. “I wholeheartedly support Everbowl’s quest to fuel active lifestyles in every community where residents want to become their best selves,” Brees said in a press release.
The Westerville location opens in September, and the Upper Arlington location opens in October. No exact dates or opening details have been shared regarding the other eight locations.
