New burrito concept from popular Columbus kitchen opens

Blackbird Burrito Co. has officially landed.

The new burrito spot from Jack Kendall, the owner of sister eatery Blackbird Kitchen, has officially opened its doors. The concept has set up a kiosk inside of Woodland’s Backyard, which is located at 668 Grandview Ave.

The new burrito spot held an official grand opening event yesterday.

Blackbird Burrito Co. features both massive burritos and burrito bowls crafted by Kendall, in addition to salads and SoCal Fries.

The new burrito spot is a sister concept to Blackbird Kitchen, which Kendall also operates. Blackbird Kitchen, which took over the kitchen space of Woodland’s Tavern in 2021, offers everything from tacos, to Polish boys and its popular Phantasm burger, which features pico do gallo, melted cheese, pickled jalapeño and spicy Phantasm sauce.
