New dosa-focused eatery from owner of Cumin & Curry coming to Columbus area

The owner of the popular Indian eatery Cumin & Curry is planning to bring a new concept to Gahanna.

Dosa Kitchen, which is located at 1307 Stone Ridge Dr., will likely open its doors sometime in January, according to owner Govinda Gautam.

“It’s a South Indian restaurant. We wanted to bring those flavors to Gahanna, since there aren’t any South Indian restaurants in that area,” Gautam said.

As its name implies, Dosa Kitchen will specialize in Dosa, a crispy, crepe-like Indian dish, and Idli, a savory rice cake served with chutney or Indian stew.

Gautam is also the owner and operator of Cumin & Curry, an Indian eatery that opened three years ago and is located at 4155 Morse Crossing, in Easton Town Center.
