The concept that will replace Cleaver in Grandview has officially arrived.

Bobcat Sports Bar, the brand-new eatery and bar, which is located at at 1099 W. First Ave., opened for business on March 15. It is located inside the former home of Cleaver in Grandview, the restaurant spin-off of The Butcher & Grocer which announced a surprise closure last year.

Bobcat’s menu offers items like Smash Burgers, Chili Cheese Dogs, a B.E. L. T. (bacon, egg, lettuce and tomato), and three varieties of fried potatoes, including Waffle Fries, Shoestring Fries and Tater Tots.

According to co-owner Dimitri Hatzifotinos, Bobcat will serve as a hub for both March Madness in addition to Columbus Crew games and all European soccer leagues.

“We’re going to cater to soccer fans; the partners (which als0 includes) are all soccer fans, we all have season tickets to Crew games, and we want to be part of that community,” Hatzifotinos said. “Plus, Lower.com Field is within walking distance.”

The eatery offers 19 different TVs and a large outdoor patio as well.
