A brand-new pizzeria is set to make its debut in central Ohio.

According to a store employee, Pick-Up Pizza will officially open its doors for business on Jan. 2. The family-owned eatery is located at 381 30th St., STE F in Heath.

As its names suggests, the concept will be offer carryout pies when it first opens, although according to co-own er Jacob Maynard, it will eventually offer delivery as well.

According to Maynard, the concept is a family affair that has been in the works for more than a few years.

“It’s been something my Dad and I have wanted to do for decades,” Maynard told 614Now in an interview earlier this year. “We finally had the chance so we wanted to go for it.”

In addition to pie-cut pizzas, Pick-Up Pizza also plans to offer salads, sandwiches and dessert pizzas.
