After more than a decade, local Irish pub quietly closed; here’s what already took its place
An Irish pub known for trivia, lively events, reuben melts, wings, and of course, Guinness drafts, quietly and recently closed.
Blarney Stone Tavern, located in the Linworth neighborhood at 2245 W. Dublin Granville Rd. Unit 111, may have closed in late November, but there’s already a replacement that moved in last December.

Double Eagle Spirits and Sports, a sports bar that serves fare like burgers & fries, is open and already a popular spot for Tuesday night trivia. The new bar features larger TVs for viewing sports, plus the addition of a new pool table, and a strong Monday-Friday happy hour from 4-6pm.
