New family-owned pizzeria coming to Columbus area

A new carryout pizzeria is on its way to Heath.

The new concept Pick-Up Pizza will be located at 381 S. 30th St., STE F, in Heath, according to owner Jacob Maynard. The eatery is currently eyeing a grand opening in mid-December, although an exact date has not been announced.

“It’s been something my Dad and I have wanted to do for decades,” Maynard told 614Now about opening the new spot. “We finally had the chance, so we wanted to go for it.”

As its name implies, Pick-Up Pizza will offer carryout pizzas (cut into pie-style slices), but also plans to offer delivery.

In addition, Pick-Up Pizza also plans to offer salads, sandwiches, and several styles of dessert pizza, although Maynard said that recipes for their dessert pies haven’t been finalized yet.
