New Pizza concept taking over former home of Columbus Dairy Queen

Jack McLaughlin

A Dairy Queen on the city’s north side is now closed, but a new pizzeria will replace the spot known for Blizzards and soft serve cones.

According to new signage on the building, Prince Pizza is coming to 1900 Tamarack Cir. S. in Forest Park East. The location was previously home to Dairy Queen.

Prince Pizza does not appear to have a social media presence or a website currently.

While some have speculated that the pizzeria is a spin-off concept from the owners of Talita’s Burritos & Coneys (as the eatery used to operate a location on the 1800 block of Tamarack Circle S., and its owner is named Frank Prince), Talita’s and Prince Pizza are not affiliated, Frank Prince told 614Now.

It’s currently unclear when Prince Pizza plans to open, but we’ll keep you updated when information is available.
