New pizza shop and restaurant now open in Grandview area

The former home of Tamo’s Pizzeria and more recently Mr. Hummus Pizza & Grill is now home to another Columbus concept. And guess what? It also features pizza.

M.A. Pizza & Grill recently opened its doors. The restaurant is located at 1333 Northwest Blvd., just south of Grandview in Fifth by Northwest.

The new eatery is halal, according to its social media accounts. While the restaurant’s official menu could not be located online, M.A. Pizza & Grill’s social media accounts depict a variety of traditional and specialty pizzas, in addition to Middle Eastern fare.

Both brick and mortar locations of Mr. Hummus pizza & Grill were sold earlier this year. The Mr. Hummus on Bethel Road became Kebab Hummus Grill, which opened in February. Mr. Hummus Owner Terek Albast relaunched the concept in New Albany’s Bubbly Hall, which held its grand opening last month. He also has  a new concept coming to Italian Village soon.

M.A. Pizza & Grill is open from 11 a.m.-11 p.m. daily.
