New Southern-style eatery opens in Clintonville

Clintonville is about to get a taste of the South.

Tonya Bee’s Southern Bistro has opened its doors at the new Maker Kitchens space in Clintonville, which is located at 2864 N High St. The space provides commercial kitchen spaces for local concepts, in addition to physical pick-up windows for patrons. 

The new Southern spot opened for business in late August, but is holding an official grand opening celebration on Sept. 22.

The opening, which will be at their High Street location from 12 p.m.-12 a.m., will feature deals, samples and more. Dine-in space will be available for the event, which will also include live blues music.

Chicken sandwiches, fried catfish and even hot tamales are featured on Tonya Bee’s sizable menu, which includes plenty of dessert as well.
