The second of two concepts taking over the former home of Marshall’s in Grandview has opened its doors.

According to a Facebook post from the bar, Grand Tavern is now officially open for business. It is located at 1111 W. 1st Ave. in Grandview.

Announced in January (six months after Marshall’s shared its plans to close), the concept will take over the 2,500 square-foot “bar side” that served as roughly half of Marshall’s. Delany’s Diner opened in the 3,000 square-foot “restaurant side” of the building this summer.

According to Grand Tavern owner Andrea Spence in an interview earlier this year, the concept will serve a variety of house cocktails, draft and canned beer, and wine.

Grand Tavern, which held a soft opening last weekend, is open Tuesday-Sunday, 3-10 p.m. and “when the Buckeyes are playing.”
