One of the city’s most popular burger spots has opened its first-ever standalone location

From pop-up to food cart to North Market stalwart, Preston’s: A Burger Joint has operated under a variety of banners during its eventful tenure in Columbus.

One thing it had never had, though, was a standalone brick and mortar space. Until now.

According to a statement posted to Preston’s social media accounts, the hugely-popular burger and chicken concept has opened the doors of its new Clintonville restaurant.

The eatery, which held a soft opening yesterday, will continue to operate with an abbreviated menu Tuesday through Saturday this week in order to “grow into [its] full hours.”

Preston’s is located at 2973 N. High St., in the former home of Buddha Bowl. The eatery, known for its smash burgers, fries and a variety of hearty fried chicken creations, closed its North Market space on Nov. 23 to open the Clintonville Location.
