Pizzeria named best in Licking County for third consecutive year

If you’ve ever wondered who offers the best pizza in Licking County, according to one local award series, there’s one clear answer.

Plaza Pizza has been voted Best Pizza in for the third consecutive year in the Official Community Choice Awards of Licking County.

“So thankful for you and your support as we take home the honor for the best pizza in Licking County for the third year in a row,” an Instagram post from Plaza Pizza reads. The winners were announced on Nov. 26.

This year’s runner-up was the Newark location of Pizza Cottage, and the third place finisher was Twins Pizza.

Plaza Pizza first opened in 1971, and operates restaurants in both Heath, located at 830 S. 30th St., and Newark, located at 1130 Mt. Vernon Rd. #1.
