‘Modern burger bar’ with fries, floats from Columbus restaurant veteran opening next week
The new concept from former Budd Dairy vendor Alphabet Kitchen plans to open its doors on Nov. 18.
The eatery, which will operate as a “modern burger bar” under the name of Stacked Burger Co., is located at 1089 Worthington Woods.
While owner Jordan Lamatrice had been running Alphabet Kitchen, first as a food truck and then as a Budd Dairy Food Hall vendor, since 2015, he decided the concept’s first brick and mortar restaurant would take on a new name.

Stacked will offer smash burgers, fries and ice cream floats. It will create special burger sauces and from scratch and even plans to smoke bacon in-house.
“At Stacked Burger Co., we take food serious, and we are seriously excited to bring our special blend of flavors and customer service to the Worthington area,” Lamatrice said. “We are humbled by our opportunity to be a part of such a great community.”
