Popular, local BBQ eatery and food truck chain closing permanent location this weekend

In 2009, Chef James Anderson opened a humble walk-up stand on High St. in Clintonville, serving legendary, award winning, hardwood smoked barbecue. Since then, he’s opened 6 other food truck, drive-thru, and walk-up locations around central Ohio and has been featured on The Food Network as being one of the top places to eat.

We’re talking about none other than Ray Ray’s Hog Pit, of course. In February of 2023, another permanent Ray’s Ray’s Hog Pit location opened in Historic Worthington’s Flint Station, at 225 Park Rd. Unfortunately for the Worthington crowd, Ray Ray’s has announced that their last day setting up shop there will be December 31st.

Ray’s Ray’s announced on Facebook, “As the year wraps up, we want to express our gratitude for a great year at Flint Station. We’ve made memories and connections that will last for years to come. We are incredibly grateful for the entire Flint Station team for welcoming us with open arms and allowing us to serve the Flint community. Come visit us for our last weekend at Flint before we continue on our journey through Columbus.”

This location will be open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. this weekend for the last time ever. In the Facebook post’s comment section, Ray Ray confirmed this was permanent, and not just for the season. You can still catch Ray Ray’s at their five other locations, though!
