Next summer, a Columbus staple is opening another location, slinging their infamous New York-style pies by the whole and by the slice.

This new Mikey’s Late Night Slice will be opening at 1839, “on the alley side of University Square South,” said a Mikey’s press release.

“We couldn’t be more excited to bring our pizza party experience to this new location near campus,” said founder, Mikey Sorboro. “We’ve had our eye on a location near Ohio State for a while now, and the finally the timing, the project, and partners have clicked for us.”

Their new location will feature their signature, playful pizzas, as well as cocktails and draft beer. The interior will be “chocked full of eye candy on the walls and music videos on the screens, coming together to create a pizza and bar experience like no other,” said their press release.

Just like their name suggests, they’ll be open 3am (or later) on the weekends, starting at 11am, every day of the week.

This will mark the ninth Late Night Slice location around the state, but the first location near a college campus. Mikey Sorboro started Late Night Slice in the summer of 2009, and the company has won dozens of awards over the years.
