Popular steakhouse chain slated to open another location in Central Ohio

Here’s three hints: peanut shells thrown on the ground, onions blossoms, and buttered rolls.

If you guessed Texas Roadhouse, you’re correct! Coincidentally, a lot of people visit this popular steakhouse chain just for the above-mentioned menu items and not necessarily for their steak.

Westerville and New Albany residents will be able to get their crispy onion & cactus blossom soon. A Texas Roadhouse is planned to be constructed at 6088 N. Hamilton Road, close to the Chick-Fil-A Hamilton Quarter, according to city permits and city engineers. The new building will be over 8,000 square feet with a large patio, according to these permits.

Texas Roadhouse serves steakhouse fare with a Texas twist: sirloins and ribs, grilled seafood, mashed or baked potatoes, steak-cut fries, large salads, plus more.

This will technically be the 7th Texas Roadhouse in Central Ohio. Many residents were bummed to see the steakhouse’s Bethel Rd. location close on June 9 of this year, and although their newest building is across town, hopefully it fills in the gap. Currently, no opening date has been released yet.
