Popular Worthington restaurant is reopening after temporary closure

For the better part of January, one of Worthiongton’s more popular restaurant concepts has been closed, but that’s about to change.

The Whitney House, which is located at 666 High St., plans to officially reopen its doors tomorrow.

The restaurant closed earlier this month following service on Jan. 8. According to a previous statement from the Whitney House, the pre-planned closure was held so the eatery could renovate its tavern space.

“Thank you to our wonderful friends and family for celebrating our soft launch reopening this weekend! Stop in and see us starting Tuesday and enjoy our newly remodeled space and our delicious new menu,” a statement posted to The Whitney House’s social media pages reads.

If you’re interested in seeing the restaurant’s updated interior before Tuesday, The Whitney House shared a brief video of its newly-renovated tavern as well.
