After a false start last month, the anticipated restaurant founded by rapper 2 Chainz has opened its doors Downtown.

On Feb. 1, Esco Restaurant & Tapas officially opened its doors. The eatery is located at 31 W. Gay St.

Esco had initially announced its grand opening date as Jan. 13 in a livestreamed video posted to its Instagram account, before pushing this date back several days later.

But no matter how it got here, we’re glad Esco has arrived. With its original location in Atlanta, Esco is planning another Georgia eatery, in addition to new locations in Dallas and Memphis.

The Downtown restaurant offers an eclectic menu featuring everything from catfish and grits to Macaroni and Cheese Spring Rolls and Cajun Salmon.

Esco is open daily from 11 a.m. until 2 a.m.
