Soup & sandwich concept opening second Columbus location

It’s officially soup season, or should we say, Zupa season.

Next Thursday, November 16th, Cafe Zupas is opening a second location in Columbus at 5980 N. Hamilton Rd. You can join the New Albany Chamber of Commerce for a grand opening celebration, starting at 10:30am! The first 100 guests will “receive one month of Cafe Zupas,” according to the New Albany Chamber of Commerce’s website. It isn’t clear if this means you’ll get unlimited Cafe Zupas for a month, but it’s worth checking out.

If you’re an early bird, you’ll get the worm – in this case, the worm is the chance to win Cafe Zupas for an entire year. Five guests will be selected to win the yearly award.

Cafe Zupas, which is Slavic for “Cafe Soups,” prides itself on offering fresh food made from scratch every day. Their menu features sixteen different soups, fourteen different sandwiches, ten different salad options, and a variety of sides.

There’s already a Cafe Zupas at Easton, and this new one on Hamilton Road will offer take-out, in-store pickup options, delivery, and even a drive-thru. There are about 55 other Cafe Zupas nationwide.
