Sub chain known for cold cuts and cheesesteaks just opened another central Ohio location

Two magic words: Mike’s Way.

If you say that to any Jersey Mike’s Subs employee at Grove City’s newest location at 5919 Hoover Road, your deli sandwich will be loaded with onions, tomatoes, lettuce, and a special red wine vinegar/olive oil blend. They just opened recently, but their grand opening events will be held January 10-14th.

Despite cold deli sandwiches decreasing in popularity compared to hot cheesesteaks, Jersey’s Mike’s Subs, a New Jersey-based deli chain known for cold subs, has opened hundreds of new storefronts in the past years, with 265 of them coming soon around the U.S.

Most recently, Grove City was chosen for another franchise location, and their Hoover Rd. storefront is now open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., seven days a week. You’ll find familiar, cold sub favorites here, like the Club Sub, Veggie Sub, and The Original Italian.

What makes Jersey Mike’s popular among the sandwich crowd is their option for hot cheesesteaks and grilled subs, too. You don’t have to choose just from a cold one; you can opt for Mike’s Famous Philly, Big Kahuna Cheese Steak, or a Bacon Ranch Chicken Cheese Steak.

And of course, don’t forget the chips on the side.
