The ‘Best Burger & Fries in Ohio’ are at this 81 year old Cbus cafe

When we think of an American classic meal, a juicy, messy burger, and a side of hot french fries probably comes to mind. And apparently, the best one can be found in a tiny little cafe in German Village.

According to Love Food, an online news publication that reviews recipes and restaurants around the country, Thurman’s Cafe has a top-notch burger and fries duo – the best in Ohio, in fact.

In their list of “Best Burgers & Fries in Every State,” the online publication said, “The gigantic burgers at The Thurman Cafe come as 12oz patties that are piled high with toppings, so it’s best to visit with an empty stomach. Customers recommend The Thurman Burger loaded with ham, mushrooms, onions, mozzarella, American cheese, and pickles, as well as the mushroom burger with mushrooms and mozzarella. The hand-cut fries are given the thumbs up too.”

There’s a reason a line starts to form outside of this 81 year old, no-frills cafe, almost every day starting around noon.

The Thurman Cafe is located at at 183 Thurman Ave. You can grab their legendary burgers Sun-Thurs, 11am-11pm, and Fri-Sat, 11am-12pm. They’re also participating in (614’s) Burger & Beer week October 2-7, where burgers are $6-$8 all week long!
