This concept serves as a coffee shop by day and bar by night, and it’s opening this week

A unique Columbus concept will be serving a cup of coffee just as easily as a craft cocktail.

Bada Bean Bada Booze, a dual-concept drink hotspot created by Thrive Cos., will open its second location later this week. 

The new combination concept is located at 527 W. Fifth Ave. in Harrison West, and will hold its grand opening celebration on Oct. 6, from 6 p.m.-midnight.

The celebration will feature “a night of funky music, delicious cocktails, giveaways, and a special champagne toast at 8 p.m. to celebrate the new space with everyone,” according to a press release.

The Harrison West Bada Bean Bada Booze, at 2,200 square feet, will be the second location for the combination coffee shop and nightlife spot. The concept opened its first storefront last December in Italian Village. While both are located inside Thrive Cos. properties, they are open to residents and members of the public alike.

The new Bada Bean Bada Booze will serve as a coffee shop from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. daily, with the bar portion of the concept opening Monday-Thursday from 4-10 p.m., and from 4 p.m.-midnight on Saturday and Sunday.
