This marketplace coming to Central Ohio will be considered the ‘largest in the Midwest’
There will be a new, “state-of-the-art” marketplace in town – one that’s 123,000 square-feet, with enhanced produce, deli, bakery, meat, seafood, and sushi departments, plus a Murray’s Cheese Shop, an apparel section, a fuel center, and much more.
Although this sounds like an entirely new concept, this marketplace has a familiar name: Kroger.
On November 9th, Kroger Marketplace broke ground in Jerome Village, at the corner of Rt. 42 and Ravenhill Parkway, according to a Jerome Village press release. This new Kroger Marketplace will be considered the largest in the Midwest, and the press release says this is the first new Kroger Marketplace in Central Ohio since 2009.

And it’s a pretty big deal to those living in Jerome Village and parts of Dublin and Plain City. The newest Marketplace will give grocery access to those hundreds of people who would otherwise have to travel far for a quick grocery trip. And with the addition of the NYC-famous Murray’s Cheese Shop, a clothing section, and gas station, the Marketplace is a one-stop-shop for basically all of your needs.
This Jerome Village Kroger Marketplace is expected to open next fall, in 2024.
