Today is National Cheesesteak Day; so we’ve compiled a list of our top local spots

Like National Dadgum That’s Good Day (yes this is real) and National Crown Roast of Pork Day, there are more than a few National Days along this growing trend that have us questioning whether or not we should be celebrating them.

Today, National Cheesesteak Day, however, is not one of those we’re skeptical about. We’re all for this one, and in honor of it, we’ve put together a list of local cheesesteak spots to try.

Wario’s Beef & Pork

This hugely-popular Arena District concept is known for serving massive cheesesteaks, just you need to make sure they’re served Wario’s Way–with an extra dollop of whiz–on your sandwich.

Marlow’s Cheesesteaks

This pair of former Philly residents is “doing it Philly style” in Gahanna, and Columbus can’t get enough of them. Gift card giveaways will be going on throughout the day to celebrate National Cheesesteak Day.

This deli-style spot is tucked away into a Hilliard strip mall, but don’t let any of that fool you, as they’re serving up some of the best and most authentic cheesesteaks in all of Columbus.

Village Coney

You might have walked by this German Village eatery if you didn’t know any better, but now you have no excuse to avoid trying this long standing, family-owned spot. You can thank us later.

Charley’s Cheesesteaks

Let’s give a little love to the hometown chain, Charley’s Cheesesteaks. The concept is offering $2 off any regular or large cheesesteak for online orders, using the promo code “CHEESESTEAK” currently.
