Try if you dare: Cbus pizzeria is serving ‘The Hottest Pizza on Earth’ for limited time only

“We don’t know why you keep asking for it. This pizza is so hot, it’s downright inedible,” said a past post on Mikey’s Late Night Slice’s Facebook.

From today until October 31st only, true masochists and those with “the intestinal fortitude” can try a slice of the so-called hottest pizza in the world, known as the “Fiery Death.” Slices will be available at their 268 South 4th St. location only.

The “hottest pizza on Earth” is made with fresh ghost, scorpion, and reaper peppers, and pureed scorpion pepper pizza sauce. “This pizza is not for the faint of heart,” said Mikey’s.

And if you’re up for a little competition, Mikey’s is looking for “6 brave souls with an iron gut and something to prove” to compete for some prizes tonight, 10/26, at 7:30. All you need to do is eat three slices of the Fiery Death Pizza, and a fresh Carolina Reaper pepper, and sit still for five minutes with no additional food or drink. It costs $6.66 to join in on the contest.

First place takes home $200 in Late Night Slice gift cards, a shirt, concert tickets, plus other prizes. 

“If you just want to watch the people go up in flames, spectating is free!” Mikey’s mentioned.
