Two Columbus eateries make Yelp’s Top 100 Burgers in the country list

Two Ohio restaurants cracked Yelp’s Top 100 Burgers of 2023 list, and both of them are located in Columbus.

The list, which was published on May 28 in celebration of National Burger Day, considers eateries with a large number of reviews mentioning the word “burgers.” These restaurants were then ranked using multiple factors, including the total volume and content of reviews.

At number 51 was Bareburger Short North. The eatery, which is located at 463 N. High St. is known for serving a variety of beef and bison burgers using ethical and sustainable sources.

Rounding out the list at number 100 is Northstar Cafe, the Columbus-based eatery with numerous central Ohio locations. Northstar offers meat-based burger, and is also well-known for its Northstar Burger, which is meatless.

According to the Yelp list, the country’s best burger spot is Fox Bros Bar-B-Q in Atlanta.
