In the span of a few short years, Parable Coffee has gone from operating a shared space inside of Comune to its own High Street brick and mortar. And now you can add a bonafide spot for cocktails and wine to that progression as well.

According to a social media post, Parable Coffee–the chic Downtown spot known for culinary coffee drinks and eye-catching pastries from chef Aaron Clouse–will officially open Parable After Dark today.

After acquiring its liquor license in May, Parable is ready to become a hotspot for natural wine, craft cocktails and more.

According to co-owner Ben Willis, Parable After Dark will be held at Parable’s current storefront–which is located at 149 S. High St.–every Friday-Sunday from 5-11 p.m. to start, and hours may be adjusted as the Parable team gets a better handle on evening service Downtown.

“We are very excited to expand on the services that we offer! I think a cocktail and wine bar centered around quality ingredients and service is exactly what Downtown needs,” Willis said, adding that Parable After Dark will retain Parrable’s commitment to equitable employee treatment, aiming to offer “a hospitable work environment in a really wild time to be a service industry worker.”
