We polled Columbus foodies to learn who has the best ranch dressing in the city; Here’s what they said

There are two types of Midwesterners, those who admit their love affair with ranch dressing, and those who are also crazy about ranch, but pretend they aren’t.

With that out of the way, we decided to tackle a burning question that Columbus diners want to know; Who has the best ranch in the city?

We talked to a handful of local foodies and food content creators. Here’s why they said

“Best vegan ranch is Seitan’s Realm. Best ranch Hoggy’s BBQ, They make it in house so it has a nice freshness and a perfect consistency. Some ranches are too thick or too mayo-y but Hoggy’s nails it.”

Anthony O’Connell, 614feast

“So far, I’ve found nobody who beats JTs Pizza.”

Steve Landes–founder of Ranch Connoisseurs of Columbus…and the world!

“Hot Chicken Takeover of course.”

Jordan Posner–Midwest_foodfest

JTs Pizza. So good. It’s house made and they sell it in jars.”

Austin Yochus–Austin Eats; creator of annual Columbus chicken wing spreadsheet

“Sexton’s. Housemade ranch is absolutely fire. I don’t know of many others that are made in house. The Half Pint’s sriracha ranch was amazing but the Clintonville one is closed now.”

Tyler Jamison–ThePlatedCreative

“I’m going either harvest pizza or hound dogs!”

Tucker Gilkerson–614beasteats

Marzetti’s brand of ranch dressing.”

Nakimba Mullins–founder of Pizza Connoisseurs of Columbus

“JT’s Pizza has some amazing Homemade Ranch! My wife said Columbus Brewing Company also.”

Doug Sherwood–Baldy Pizza Reviews
