Shooting resulting in a fatality happened at this German Village area bar last weekend

Last Saturday, December 23rd, while many were at Christmas parties inside their homes or visiting elsewhere, some Columbus residents took to the bars instead.

At around 6:12pm that evening, Columbus Patrol Officers responded to a shooting at 912 S. High St. at Double Take Bar and Grill, located right between Whittier St. and Frederick St. Technically, since Double Take Bar and Grill is located on S. High, the location is considered the Brewery District, but the homes right behind it on Pearl St. are considered German Village proper.

According to the newly released police report, an argument began inside the bar, which then led to multiple people discharging their firearms inside of the bar.
