After more than 30 years, this iconic ride is closing for good

After operating for over three decades, a Cedar Point ride will close for good.

According to a Cedar Point blog post made on Aug. 2, Snake River Falls will make its last splash in less than a month. The ride will permanently close on Sept. 2.

“Get ready to go over the falls one last time,” the post reads. “After 31 years of soaking riders (both on the ride and over its splashy bridge), it’s time to ‘wave’ goodbye to the Snake River Falls boat ride.”
