Celebrating Father’s Day is a time-honored, American tradition that dates back 1910, so finding new and unique ways to celebrate each year can become a daunting task. This year, we’ve put together a fun and (mostly) free way to show your appreciation this Dad’s Day for all of the parental figures in your life.

Fathers Day Market
Taking place at the Goat in LC Gahanna, this Father’s Day event is entirely free for Dad’s and family members alike. The market will range from 12-3pm and will feature vendors, live music, and corn hole. Families can also purchase food from Schmidt’s Sausage Truck or enjoy complimentary cotton candy from Cotton Sugar Co.

Father’s Day Burger Flight
Burgers and beer – for some dad’s these two words are exactly what Father’s Day is all about. For $20 at Columbus Brewing Company’s Beer Hall, guests can receive a flight consisting of four unique pairings of sliders and craft beer. Flights will be available for purchase during the beer hall’s normal hours of 11am-10pm

Father’s Day at North Market Bridge Park
From 12-3pm, the North Market in Bridge Park, Dublin is opening their doors for various Father’s Day celebrations. Guests can enjoy putting grass organized by Intown Golf Club and free cocktails from Market Bar and Basil Hayden. Alongside these unique activities, the usual North Market vendors will still be open for food, drinks and other gifts.

Fathers Day at TownHall in Short North
Another Dad’s Day freebie – TownHall is offering a complimentary beer or Bulletproof coffee for the celebrated parental figures. This deal will run throughout the restaurant’s normal hours of 9am-12pm.

Father’s Day Car Show
Returning for their third year, the Father’s Day Car Show fosters an environment not only to celebrate loved ones, but also for fathers to bond with dad’s who share similar interests. This year’s show will run from 3pm-6pm in Carroll, Ohio, with registration available at $15. Featuring a showcase, giveaway, live music, food and drinks, this event is sure to fall nothing short of a great time.
