Giant animatronic bug models are coming to the library!

Sure, summer is all about getting your hands dirty, but when it comes to digging around for creepy crawlers, that’s not so ideal.

There’s now a chance to get a closer look at creepy crawlers though! The Columbus Metropolitan Library is welcoming large-scale models of giant mugs to its Main Library.

The interactive exhibit features an 8-foot-tall firefly and grasshopper, a 6-foot-tall stag beetle, a 7-foot-tall blue-eyed darner, and a 10-foot tall orb web spider. 

The exhibit is free and open to all! Plus, special staff-led programs and customer-led activities will accompany the exhibit, as well as engaging bug-themed books available to check out.

Check out the display from August 13 through October 24! It is, after all, A Bug’s Life. We’re just living in it.
