Machine Gun Kelly-inspired collaboration beer coming to Columbus

Jack McLaughlin

Rapper, singer and actor Machine Gun Kelly could be adding another line to his long list of resume qualifications: Craft beer muse.

The Ohio-raised musician’s Cleveland coffee shop, 27 Coffee Club, is partnering with craft brewery Saucy Brew Works to create Mr. Pink, an American wheat ale with guava and strawberry.

According to the brewery’s website, Mr. Pink will be brewed in honor of Machine Gun Kelly Day, which is on Aug. 13 in Cleveland.

Saucy Brew Works is based in Cleveland, and while the beer’s official launch party will be held there, a local bar and restaurant will hold a release party as well.

The Columbus launch party for Mr. Pink will be held at Hubbard Grille, which is located at 793 N. High St. It will take place sometime in August, although an exact date has not been announced.

Tickets for the release party are $20. Admission includes one Mr. Pink beer, a koozie, appetizers, a Saucy Brew Works coupon and three raffle tickets. You can purchase them here.

“Be the first fans to try the new beer! Enjoy some appetizers, enter to win some prizes, party with your fellow fans, and take home some exclusive merchandise,” an event description reads.

The collaboration beer will be available at all Saucy Brew Works location on Aug. 10.
